About e Medhabruti Scholarship 2024 

The State Higher Education Department, in collaboration with the Odisha government, has launched the e Medhabruti Scholarship, keeping in mind the deserving students. The state government offers 14,500 scholarships every year. Students with inferior family financial status can easily apply for this scholarship. After completing the application process, students get benefits ranging from Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000 annually. e Medhabruti Scholarship: Eligibility Criteria 

Follow the eligibility criteria given below to apply for the e medhabruti scholarship.

Medhabruti Junior Merit Scholarship:-

• To apply, the applicant must be a permanent resident of Odisha.
• The student’s family income should be less than Rs. 6 lakh annually.
• The applicant must have pursued a regular full-time course for two years.
• The applicant must have passed HSC from a recognized Institute under the CBSE ICSE equivalent board with a minimum mark of 60%
• Students from other states are not eligible to apply.
• Students pursuing higher education by distance or correspondence are not eligible to apply.

Medhabruti Senior Merit Scholarship:-

• To apply, the applicant must be a permanent resident of Odisha.
• The student’s family income should be less than Rs. 6 lakh annually.
• The applicant must have pursued a regular full-time course for three years.
• The applicant must have passed CHSC from a recognized Institute under the CBSE ICSE equivalent board with a minimum mark of 60%
• Students from other states are not eligible to apply.
• Students pursuing higher education by distance or correspondence are not eligible to apply.

Medhabruti PG Merit Scholarship

• To apply, the applicant must be a permanent resident of Odisha.
• The student’s family income should be less than Rs. 6 lakh annually.
• The candidate must pursue a regular course from one of the many disciplines covered under the scheme.
• The candidate must have passed a 3-year degree course from a recognized University.
• The student pursuing a b.Ed m.Ed m.Phil and PhD are not eligible to apply
• Students from other states are not eligible to apply.

Medhabruti Technical And Professional Merit Scholarship:-

• To apply, the applicant must be a permanent resident of Odisha.
• The student’s family income should be less than Rs. 6 lakh annually.
• The candidate must pursue a regular technical professional course covered by any recognized College or University institute.
• The candidate must have passed a 3-year degree course from a recognized University Student pursuing b.Ed m.Ed m Phil and Ph.D. are not eligible to apply

Not Eligible under the Medhabruti Scholarship

• Open University or Distance Learning Applicants pursuing their higher studies.
• Applicants are pursuing self-financed general UG/PG courses.
• Students already have scholarships to pursue higher-level studies under any other Central or State Government scheme.
• Applicants pursuing diploma-level courses are not eligible.
• Students appearing for MPhil or PhD and B.Ed., M.Ed students are not eligible.
• Applicants completing a technical or professional course following a technical or professional course for the same level are not eligible.
• Applicants admitted to colleges need to be approved by the regulatory body.
• Study abroad students are not eligible to apply.
• Applicants are verified by the Principal concerned at the time of first-year admission.
