Ashirwad Scholarship Program: Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria that students must meet to apply for the Ashirwad Scholarship are discussed below:
- Firstly, the student must be a permanent resident of Punjab.
- The student must be below 17 years of age.
- The applicant must belong to the SC/ST/OBC category.
- SC/ST category students must have an annual family income of less than Rs. 2.5 lakh.
- OBC category students must have a yearly family income of less than 1 lakh rupees.
- The student must have passed the 10th class from any government, privately or publicly recognized school, or the board of secondary education.
- If a student receives any other scholarship, they are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
- Students participating in distance education are not eligible to apply.
- Applicants with a graduate degree in medicine are eligible to apply.
