The Government of Tamil Nadu has introduced the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Fellowship Program for two years. The fellows are actively involved in the flagship and priority programs of the state government and work in the various departments assigned to them. They identify issues and assist in data-driven decision-making concerning assigned programs to address gaps and optimize service delivery in line with global best practices. Students applying for this two-year fellowship program will receive a permanent stipend of Rs. 75,000. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Fellowship Benefits
Successful applicants for the Fellowship will receive a stipend of Rs 75,000/- per month after completing the application process correctly.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Fellowship 2024 Eligibility
Follow the eligibility criteria below to complete the application process correctly:-
- A first-class Bachelor’s degree in respect of Professional Courses (Engineering, Medicine, Law, Agriculture, Veterinary Science) or a first-class Master’s degree in Arts/Science from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India, or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament, or declared as a Deemed-to-be University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or an equivalent qualification.
- Candidates with a PhD degree will be preferred.
- Work experience will be an added advantage.
- A strong emphasis will be on research experience.
- Working knowledge of Tamil is mandatory.
- Age Limit: The applicant must be 22-30 as of the online application’s opening date. The maximum age limit for candidates in the SC/ST category is 35, and for candidates in the BC/MBC category, it is 33.
