SVMCM Scholarship 2024 Eligibility Criteria 

Students must meet only a few general eligibility criteria to apply for the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship. Students who do not meet the eligibility criteria listed below will not be eligible to apply for the scholarship.

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of the state of West Bengal.
• 60% of the required qualifications are compulsory for Secondary, higher secondary (Arts, Commerce, Science), and Diploma students.
• 60% marks are necessary for Arts, Science, and Commerce students at the Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) levels.
• A 60% mark will be required for students of Polytechnic and Engineering courses.
• UG Bachelor of Medicine and BAR Diploma courses will require 60% marks.
• The applicant’s annual family income must be less than Rs. 2.5 lakh from any source.

To apply for the SVMCM Scholarship, certain documents are required. Here’s a list of the necessary documents for the application process: 

• Mark sheet of Madhyamik Examination or its ‘equivalent{Both sides)”
• Admission Receipt
• ‘Scan copy of Bank Passbook (1st Page, containing AIC No., IFSC, and Beneficiary Name)*
• Mark shoot of last Board/CouncillUniversity [College Examination*
• The domicile certificate is ‘Aadhaar IDNoter ID/Ration card/Certificate Issued by the concerned authority.”
• UploadingUploading an income certificate is not needed for K3 applicants.

Documents to be uploaded for Renewal Application:

• Copy of the Marksheet of the last examination in the present course of study. (Both sides and in the case of the semester examination system, both semester mark sheets)
• Admission receipt for the promotion to the next higher class

Steps to Apply for Online SVMCM Scholarship 2024

• Visit the Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship Official Website.

• Click the “Registration” link at the top of the page.
• Do not read the entire Terms and Conditions and other information before clicking the box next to the Declaration option at the bottom of the page.
• You can download the User Manual and then select the “Proceed to Registration” option for your convenience.
• Then, there are six possibilities for six different types of students. You must choose and click on the checkbox representing your category.
• Then, a registration form will appear in front of you, in which you must provide information about your most recent board, council, or university and what you are currently studying. Finally, you must create a ‘Password’ of your choosing.
• Then, provide a mobile number and click the ‘Register’ button. An ‘OTP’ will be delivered to your phone. Once verified, you can proceed to the next step.
• You will notice an ‘Application ID’, which you can download and save to your account by clicking the download button. Whether it matters, ‘ID’ and ‘Password’ will already be given to your mobile number or email address.
• Then, return to the login page and input your “Application ID” and “Password” with a captcha code.
• Then, an account in your name will be created, and you must click on the ‘Edit Profile’ option to submit all of your information, such as personal information and bank account information.
• After correctly entering all the following information, click the ‘Save and Continue’ option. You will then be taken to the next ‘Documents Upload’ phase.

• Visit the Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship “Official Website”.
• At the top of the homepage, select the “Applicant Login” option.
• “Enter” your Applicant ID, Password, and Captcha code.
• In the right sidebar, select “Application Details”.
• Click on the “Edit Renewal” Application and enter the information as directed.
• Upload the required documents and click the Preview button to ensure all the information is correct; if everything is accurate, hit the “Submit” button.
• To obtain a PDF copy of the Application Form, click the View Renewal Application button under Application Details and then the Download Application Form Details link above.
