The amount of the Sitaram Jindal Foundation Scholarship 2024 is awarded per category, as each category has different scholarships:-

Sitaram Jindal Foundation Scholarship 2024 Last Date

There is no last date to apply for the Sitaram Jindal Foundation Scholarship; students may complete the application process at any time during the academic year.

Sitaram Jindal Foundation Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 

Category-A

  • The student must have studied in a public school’s ninth and twelfth classes.
  • Male students must pass with at least 65% marks, and female students with at least 60% marks in their last examination.
  • In the case of the state of Karnataka, 75% of marks were given to male students and 70% to female students.
  • For West Bengal, 65% of the marks are for male students, and 60% are for female students.
  • The applicant must be below 30 years old.
  • The applicant’s annual family income should be less than Rs. 4 lakh rupees for employment.
  • The family income should not exceed INR 2.5 lakhs per annum for other students.

Category-B

  • Only ITI students are eligible to apply to this Category.
  • Boy students should pass with at least 50% marks and girls with at least 45% in their last examination.
  • The applicant should be younger than 30 years.
  • The applicant’s annual family income should be less than Rs. 4 lakh rupees for employment.
  • The family income should not exceed INR 2.5 lakhs per annum for other students.

Category-C

  • Students must pass the 12th standard in this category
  • Continuing education courses such as BA BCom BBA BBA BCA BHM can be applied under this scheme.
  • Male students must pass with at least 60% marks, and female students with at least 55% marks in their last examination.
  • In the case of the state of Karnataka, 75% of marks were given to male students and 70% to female students.
  • For West Bengal, 65% of the marks are for male students, and 60% are for female students.
  • The applicant should be younger than 30 years.
  • The applicant’s annual family income should be less than Rs. 4 lakh rupees for employment.
  • The family income should not exceed INR 2.5 lakhs per annum for other students.

Category-D

  • Candidates pursuing postgraduate courses such as MA, MCA, M PHIL, M.Com, and MSc are eligible for this scholarship.
  • Male students must pass with at least 65% marks, and female students with at least 60% marks in their last examination.
  • In the case of the state of Karnataka, 75% of marks were given to male students and 70% to female students.
  • The applicant’s annual family income should be less than Rs. 4 lakh rupees for employment.
  • The family income should not exceed INR 2.5 lakhs per annum for other students.

Category-E

  • Students with diplomas in Engineering and Medicine are eligible.
  • Male students must pass with at least 60% marks, and female students with at least 55% marks in their last examination.
  • The applicant should be younger than 30 years.
  • The applicant’s annual family income should be less than Rs. 4 lakh rupees for employment.
  • The family income should not exceed INR 2.5 lakhs per annum for other students.

Category-F

  • Engineering and medical students are eligible.
  • Male students must pass with at least 70% marks, and female students with at least 65% marks in their last examination.
  • In the case of Karnataka and West Bengal state, 75% marks for male students and 70% for female students.
  • The applicant should be younger than 30 years.

Note:

  1. For physically challenged or disabled students, the eligibility percentage of marks will be pass marks in all categories.
  2. At the time of continuation (Repeat) of scholarship in all categories, the minimum percentage of marks for continuation will be relaxed by 5%.
