ONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Company), a famous company in India, has taken the initiative of ONGC Scholarship. Purpose Of The ONGC Scholarship

The main objective of the ONGC scholarship is to motivate the financially backward communities of the country belonging to the SC/ST/OBC category to start higher education by providing them a financial benefit of Rs. 48,000 per annum. ONGC Scholarship 2024 Who Can Apply? [Eligibility Criteria]

To know all the eligibility criteria regarding the scholarship, we must follow the points below; only then can you correctly complete the application process.

• The applicant must be a citizen of India.
• The student must be an SC, ST, OBC, & General category student.
• Applicant should be a full-time first-year Engineering/MBBS student or first-year MBA/Masters in Geology/Geophysics in AICTE/UGC/MCI/State University/State Education Board/Central University/Central Govt. Institution.
• For the Engineering MBBS program, students must obtain at least 60% marks in the 12th class examination.
• For an MBA / M.Sc. in Geology / Geophysics, a student must obtain a minimum score of 60 percent in the twelfth class examination—or 6.0 CGPA/OGPA on a 10-point scale of the grading system.
• For SC/ST students, annual family income from any source should be less than four and a half lakh rupees.
• On the other hand, for OBC and General students, the annual family income from any source should be less than two lakh rupees.
• The applicant should be within 30 years at the maximum.

*50% of the scholarships are reserved for female candidates.

You need some mandatory documents to apply for this scholarship. You can’t apply for this scholarship if you don’t have them. Documents required for the scholarship are discussed below:-

• Age proof, including Birth certificate/Class 10 mark sheet)

ONGC Scholarship Scheme: How To Apply

The application process will be completed offline after visiting the official website, as we have mentioned step by step below:-

• Visit the official ONGC scholarship page.
• Click the ‘Apply Scholarship’ button to begin the application process.

• Fill out all of the essential information on the application form. (Note: Students must complete the application form in capital characters).
• Submit all supporting documents, including the completed application duly certified and delivered by the Dean/Head/Principal of the University/Institute/College.
