About Nabanna Scholarship 2024

Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal, Shri Mamata Banerjee, has launched a flagship program called the Nabanna Scholarship Scheme. This scholarship scheme was launched with the poor and economically backward students of the state kept in mind. The Chief Minister’s Relief Fund Scholarship is offered to students pursuing PG courses from Class 10. In the North Bengal region of West Bengal state, this scholarship is known as the Uttarkanya Scholarship, and the people of South Bengal know the scholarship as the Nabanna Scholarship. Eligible students who complete the scholarship application process will receive a financial package of Rs 10000 annually.

Nabanna Scholarship Program Eligibility Criteria

To complete the application process, the standard eligibility criteria that the students need to fulfill to start the application process are discussed below.

• Applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal state.
• The student must pursue their studies in any recognized institution in the state of West Bengal, and the student must have passed their final examination from a recognized institution and the Council of West Bengal University.
• For higher secondary 12th degree, those who have completed the Madhyamik (Class 10) examination with 50% and 60% marks are eligible.
• For (UG) graduates, an aggregate score between 50% and 60% is required in the Higher Secondary (Class 12) examination.
• A cumulative GPA between 50% and 53% is required for undergraduates.
• The student’s annual family income should be below INR 1.20 lakhs.
• Students should not be availing of any other scholarship to avail of the scholarship.

• Visit the official website. Visit www.Cmrf.Wb.Gov.In, the newly launched Nabanna Scholarship portal.

• Choose the option to use for educational financial resources.
• Before choosing Agree, make sure to read and follow all of the requirements carefully.
• Since this is your first utility, you must create an account. Click to begin.
• Enter your phone number, confirm with the OTP, create a new password, and click Sign Up.
• Enter your registered cell variety, password, and captcha code on the login display, and then click Login.
• Enter your phone number, father’s name, birthdate, age, district, pin code, circle of relatives’ salary, email address, and other required details, and then click Submit.
• Provide information about your education, including the call from the board or college, cutting-edge courses, the results of the most recent qualifying exams (Class 10/12), general marks, and more.
