Hello friends, a new Muskaan Scholarship has been launched to fulfill students’ dreams. Around 1,300 children financially benefit from this scholarship and are enrolled in grades 9-12 during the current academic year. The Muskaan Scholarship program offers specific scholarships to children of drivers and mechanics whose annual family income is less than Rs. 8 lakh. About Muskaan Scholarship 2024

The Muskaan Scholarship is a CSR initiative of Valvoline and Cummins. Financially backward individuals of the society, i.e., children of a driver or mechanic, will receive financial support of Rs. 12,000 per year from this scholarship. Applicants must have passed their previous examination with at least 60 percent marks to be eligible for the Muskaan Scholarship 2024. Interested students who want this scholarship can visit the official website and complete the application process at home.

This year, the company has provided scholarships to 1300 children to continue supporting the education of children from the underprivileged section of society. Since the induction of the program, 2000+ students have received the scholarship. Also, the awardees were mentored by the VCPL employees. Next year, we are planning to reach more than 1500 students.

Muskaan Scholarship Program Benefits

After completing the application process, students selected for the scholarship will receive a financial benefit of up to 12,000 rupees in the current academic year. The student only needs to obtain at least 60% marks to receive this financial benefit.

• The scholarship money will be transferred to the bank account of the student, parent, or guardian provided in the application form.

Muskaan Scholarship 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Students who are considering applying for the Muskaan scholarship must meet the eligibility criteria and complete the application process as discussed below:-

• The student must be studying from class 9 to 12.
• The student’s annual family income must be less than Rs. 8 lakh.
• Applicants must obtain at least 60% marks in their final examination in the previous year.

Muskaan Scholarship Documents Required

1. Photograph of the student: The photograph should not be six months old. Make sure you upload the latest photograph

2. Proof of parent profession :

a. LMV Driving license of Parent front and back Side (Only in the case where the parent’s profession is Driving): Upload a clear photo of your parent’s LMV or HMV or AWT Driving license on both sides, Father or Mother. Applicant should not upload their driving license using this option. A wheeler license is not eligible for the scholarship.

b. Proof of mechanic (Only in case the parent profession is mechanic ): If the parent profession is mechanic, the applicant has to upload a self-declaration of mechanic form available on the website.

c. Proof of EWS (Only in cases where family income is less than eight lakhs): If the parent’s annual income is less than eight lakhs rupees, an applicant has to submit proof of annual income issued by the Government or a self-declaration form available on the website.

3. Proof of current enrolment: Please upload current class/semester proof of studying in session 2024-25. It can be an ID card issued by the School/College or a valid bonafide certificate issued by the school/college

4. Last Year’s Marksheet: The student has to upload last year’s final mark sheet issued by the school/college. A mark sheet should have a sign and stamp of the school/college. Students uploading online results should make sure that they get it attested by the school/college authority

5. Proof of Identity

a. ID Card issued by school

b.Aadhar card Issued by the Government

c. Birth certificate

6. Educational expense receipts. (2024-25)

a. School receipt- School receipt should be signed and stamped by the school. A student should upload the current year school receipt, i.e., 2024-25.

b. Uniform:- A uniform receipt should have a GST number; in case a student doesn’t have a GST receipt, then the cash memo should contain the Name of the shop, Address, and phone number and also should have a sign and stamp of the shop owner.

c. Book:- A Book receipt should have a GST number; in case a student doesn’t have a GST receipt, then the cash memo should contain the Name of the shop, Address, and phone number and should have a sign and stamp of the shop owner.

d. Stationery:- A stationery receipt should have a GST number; in case a student doesn’t have a GST receipt, then he can upload the cash memo, which should contain the Name of the shop, Address, and phone number and should have a sign and stamp of the shop owner.

Muskaan Scholarship Selection Process

Step 1: All application forms will be assessed, and eligible students will be shortlisted.

Step 2: The organizers will conduct due diligence on the applications and scrutinize the submitted forms. Organizers may contact the students for clarifications or additional documents if required.

Step 3: All shortlisted students will undergo an online interview, and the finalists will be selected for the scholarship.
