Malabar Charitable Trust Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
Students must meet the eligibility criteria listed below to continue with the application process.
- The Scholarship Scheme is exclusively for female students only.
- Students above the 60th percentile of successful candidates in the relevant stream.
- The scholarship will be granted for higher education after SSLC/10th standard. The scholarship will suspended if the scholar is not promoted to the next academic year. Correspondence/distance education students are not eligible to apply.
- All applications will be subjected to thorough scrutiny and verification, and if necessary, additional details will be required to be submitted to substantiate the student’s eligibility for the scholarship.
- Scholarship will only be granted on a ‘Merit and Means Basis.’ Attested copies of certificates or merit issued by the board/controller of examination about the qualifying examination and a copy of the income certificate issued by the Revenue authorities should be attached along with the application.
- Wards of Malabar Group of Companies employees, its subsidiary, and joint venture companies are NOT eligible for the scholarship.
- The decision of Malabar Charitable Trust regarding the scholar’s selection shall be final, and no correspondence or representation on the selection process will be entertained Under any circumstances.
- The Trust reserves the right to reject any application and discontinue the scholarship without giving any notice/ assigning any reason.
- All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Kozhikode.
- A photocopy of the student’s bank passbook (The page with the account number and address) must be enclosed.
- Applications from self-financing / unaided / swasraya and parallel/private registration students should not be accepted for the scholarship.
- Applications from students of Govt colleges/schools and aided colleges/schools with Govt College/school fee structure only should be accepted.

- Copy of the ration card for proof of annual family income (Those who do not have ration card can submit an income certificate issued by the village authority)
- Minor accounts are not accepted if the candidate is 18 or above old

- IFSC Code & Account number as per the passbook
- Declaration form from Principal / Head Of Institutions
- Declaration form from the parents.
