About Mahabocw Scholarship 2024

The Maharashtra Construction and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board and the Government of Maharashtra have implemented the Mahabocw Scholarship Scheme. Students applying for this scholarship get an annual financial benefit of Rs. 2500 to around Rs. 1 lakh. The Mahabocw Scholarship is especially meant for children of construction workers. Under this scholarship, there are different types of scholarships, from 1st class to postgraduate.

Mahabocw Scholarship Scheme Eligibility Criteria

We discussed the eligibility criteria students need to complete the application process.-

• Firstly, the student must be a permanent resident of Maharashtra.
• The parent of the student must be a construction worker.
• The age of the construction worker must be between 18 and 60 years.
• The applicant must be enrolled in a course in a school, college, or university recognized by the government or Maharashtra state government respectively (Class one to Class seven/Class eight to Class ten/Class 11 to 12/Degree course/Degree in medicine/Degree in engineering).
• Students’ attendance must be at least 75% or more in classes 8 to 10.
• In classes 10 to 12, the student must have a minimum of 50% or better grades.
• Workers who have worked as construction workers for more than 90 days in the last twelve months.

Mahabocw Scholarship Benefits

• Students studying classes 1 to 7 will get INR 2500.
• Students studying from class 8 to class 10 will get INR 5000.
• INR 10000 for students studying in the tenth to twelfth class.
• Students studying in classes XI to XII will receive INR 10 thousand.
• Students pursuing undergraduate degrees will get INR 20,000
• Students associated with medical degrees will get INR 1lakh rupees.
• Students associated with an engineering degree will get INR 60,000
• For government-recognized degrees. INR 20.000
• INR 25,000 per annum for a government-recognized master’s degree.
• MS-CIT tuition fee for two children of a registered construction worker.

Note:- All students who apply for this scholarship correctly will have the scholarship amount directly transferred to their bank account.

• The application portal for this scholarship is now open, but the application deadline has yet to be announced.

Mahabocw Scholarship Application Steps Online

• Open the website of the Maharashtra Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board on your smartphone or PC/Laptop.

• When the page appears, locate the option “construction worker apply online for the claim” and click or touch on it.
• When you click the above button, a box will appear; click on it. Following that, you will see two options in this place: New Claim and Update Claim. Click on the New Claim option.

• Then, enter the registration number (Construction workers must first register online before receiving their registration number).
• Upload all documents, including the 75% school attendance certificate, bona fide certificate, Aadhaar card, self-declaration, and ration card.
• After uploading the documents, click the Documents Verified button and then the Submit button.
• As soon as you click the submit button, you will receive an acknowledgment number; retain it for future reference.
