Eligibility criteria are divided into three categories according to the student’s course. All eligibility information is discussed below.

Class 11 and 12 Students

• Only Indian students are eligible to apply.
• Students must secure at least 60% marks in their previous board exams.
• Special considerations will be given to:-
• girl student
• Those going through difficult times (lost a parent/both parents, serious illness in the family, etc.)
• The student’s annual family income should not exceed 6 lakh rupees from any source.
• Students pursuing Class XI and Class XII from a government school college recognized can apply.
• Children of HDFC and Buddy4Study employees are not eligible.

General Graduation Students

• Only Indian students are eligible to apply.
• Students must secure at least 60% marks in their previous board exams.
• Special considerations will be given to:-

  • Those going through difficult times (lost a parent/both parents, serious illness in the family, etc.)
• The student’s annual family income should not exceed 6 lakh rupees from any source.
• Open to students who have passed class 12 and are pursuing general undergraduate courses (any year), viz.

Professional Graduation Students

• Only Indian students are eligible to apply.
• Students must secure at least 60% marks in their previous board exams.
• Special considerations will be given to:-

  • Those going through difficult times (lost a parent/both parents, serious illness in the family, etc.)
• The student’s annual family income should not exceed 6 lakh rupees from any source.
• Open to students who have passed class 12 and are pursuing postgraduate professional courses (any year) like B.Tech, MBBS, B.Arch, Nursing, BA-LLB, Fashion, BBA, BCA, etc. in recognized colleges or universities. India.

HDFC Badhte Kadam Scholarship Amount/Reward

The scholarship amount or reward varies depending on the educational level and the specific needs of the student. Here are the general details:-

• Class 11 and 12 Students- INR 18,000
• General Graduation Students-INR 30,000
• Professional Graduation Students-INR 100,000

Note: Scholarship funds can be utilized only for academic expense purposes, which include tuition fees, exam fees, books, stationery, online learning, and payment of internet/data pack bills.
