Aspire Scholarship Program 2024

The Aspire Scholarship Program is an initiative of SWAYAM Charitable Trust. Students must be affiliated with B.Tech courses in 11 prestigious engineering institutes in India to avail themselves of the benefits of this program. Aspire Scholarship 2024, students must be enrolled in the first year B.Tech course and the scholarship will cover students’ educational expenses such as tuition, hostel fees, food, and other expenses. The student’s annual income must be less than six lakh rupees to apply. The last date to apply is September 28, 2024. Students must complete the application process before this date to receive the scholarship benefits.

• Only 28 recipients are awarded according to their actual fee structure.
• The scholarship covers students’ academic expenses such as hostel fees, tuition, food, and other expenses.
• The scholarship is awarded for four years; students can renew it yearly.

Aspire Scholarship Program Key Eligibility

The general eligibility criteria that students have to fulfill to avail of the scholarship are discussed below:

• Applicant must be a permanent resident of India.
• The student should be affiliated with the B.Tech course in the first year.
• Get admission to 11 prestigious engineering institutes in India. The colleges are-
  • Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT-Kharagpur)
  • Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT-Hyderabad)
  • Indian Institute of Technology Patna (IIT-Patna)
  • Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT-Delhi)
  • Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT-Bombay)
  • Indian Institute of Technology Goa (IIT-Goa)
  • Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design & Manufacturing (IIITDM) Jabalpur
  • Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi)
  • Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee International Institute of Information Technology Naya Raipur (IIIT NR)
  • Jabalpur Engineering College
  • National Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technology (NIAMT, Ranchi)
• The student’s annual family income from any source should not be more than 6 lakh rupees.

NOTE:

• Only students not covered by any other scholarship scheme are eligible to apply (self-declaration from students is essentially required). 
• Children of employees from Apollo Trading and Finance Private Limited, BFL Investments and Financial Consultants Pvt. Ltd., SWAYAM Charitable Trust, and Buddy4Study India Foundation are not eligible.

Aspire Scholarship Program Required Documents

Here are the common documents usually required:

• Photograph of the applicant
• Current year admission proof (fee receipt/admission letter/institution identity card/bonafide certificate)
• Government-issued identity proof (Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/Driving License/PAN Card)
• Family income proof
• Passing certificates and marksheets of Class 10th and 12th 
• Date of birth proof
• Statement of Purpose (SOP), describing the immediate and long-term goals of the applicants, reasons for choosing the particular institution, and reasons for being interested in the selected field (in about 500 words)
• Bank account details of the applicant

Aspire Scholarship Program Selection Process

The general selection process typically follows these steps:

• You must first submit the online application.
• After that, the document verification process will be completed.
• A telephone interview is arranged.
• Local students are selected based on merit and financial basis.
• Shortlisted candidates will go through a final round of online interviews conducted by SWAYAM Charitable Trust panelists.
• Swayam Charitable Trust will make the final selection of scholars.

Steps To Apply for Aspire Scholarship 2024

• STEP: 1 First of all, the applicant has to go to the official website of the scholarship
• STEP 2 After that, the scholarship home page will open for you.
• STEP: 3 Login to Buddy4Study using your registered ID and go to the ‘Application Form Page.’
• STEP: 4 You will now be redirected to the ‘Aspire Scholarship Program” page.
• STEP: 5 Click the ‘Start Application’ button to start the application process.
• STEP: 6 Fill out the needed information on the online application form.
• STEP: 7 Upload the correct documents.
• STEP: 8 Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click ‘Preview.’
• STEP: 9 If all of the details entered by the applicant appear correctly on the preview screen, click the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process.
