About AICTE Pragati Scholarship 2024

The Department of Higher Education of India, under the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Department of Technical Education, has launched the AICTE Pragati Scholarship. About ten thousand students are awarded this scholarship every year. Candidates must only pursue diploma and degree courses in the second or first year of AICTE education. Advantaged students will receive financial support of up to Rs. 50,000 in a bank account from this scholarship, which will help them pay college fees, buy books, purchase a laptop, and buy all equipment.

The main objective behind the launch of the AICTE Pragati Scholarship 2024-25 is to motivate students who are financially backward in society to pursue higher education by providing them with financial support. Many students fail to pursue higher education due to lack of money. Keeping such students in mind, AICTE has decided to launch this scholarship.

Benefits of AICTE Pragati Scholarship 2024

The Pragati scholarship is awarded to students of Rs. 50,000 per annum to all those pursuing a diploma or degree course. The scholarship is available for the entire course duration, four years for a degree course or three years for a diploma course. This amount is credited to the student’s bank account. The scholarship amount is transferred directly to the student’s bank account during their course.

Pragati Scholarship Key Documents 

Here is the list of documents required for the AICTE Pragati Scholarship application:

• Passport-size photograph (A recent colour photograph of the applicant).
• Aadhaar Card
• Class 10th and/or 12th Marksheet
• Admission Letter
• Admission Fee Receipt
• Income Certificate
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)

Selection Process Under Pragati Scholarship

Steps To Apply Online AICTE Pragati Scholarship 2024

Below are the steps to apply for the AICTE Pragati Scholarship for 2024:

• To visit the National Scholarship Portal homepage, go to scholarships.gov.in.
• On the homepage, select the “Login to Apply” option.
• To apply for new scholarships, a login window requesting login details will appear.
• The application ID, password, and captcha code must all be entered.
• Choose “Login.”
• The “Apply for AICTE Pragati Scholarship 2024” link should be clicked.
• Open the application form. Fill out all of the information marked with an asterisk.
• Upload all documents as virtual files of the correct size.
• Check the application before submitting it; candidates can only make modifications, and incomplete or inaccurate submissions will be dismissed with further examination.
• Select “Submit”.

How To Renewal 

To renew the AICTE Pragati Scholarship for Girls, students who have already availed of the scholarship in the previous year must apply for renewal each academic year. Here are the steps and requirements for the renewal process:

• Visit the Pragati Scholarship Scheme webpage.
• To access your profile, enter your user ID, candidate ID, and password.
• When logging in to the portal, click the Application Renewal link.
• After clicking the link, the renewal application form will be displayed to you.

• Once you’ve uploaded all relevant documents, click the Submit button.
