About Ishan Uday Scholarship 2024

The HRD Ministry and UGC jointly developed the Ishan Uday Scholarship for economically disadvantaged people from the northeastern region. Under the scheme, 50 percent of the seats are allotted for science, engineering, and medical courses, and the remaining 50 percent are for social sciences, management, and law students. The Ishan Uday Scholarship 2024 especially helps financially disadvantaged students pursue higher education.

Around 10,000 new scholarships are awarded each year under this scholarship. The selected students will get the scholarship benefit in two installments for ten months. For the next year, the students will be able to complete the scholarship they will get until the end of the academic year.

The Ishan Uday Scholarship offers about 10,000 new scholarships to students every year. The scholarship is mainly divided into two parts. The selected candidates get a financial benefit of Rs. 5400 to 7800 for 10 months of the scholarship.

Ishan Uday Scholarship Scheme Eligibility Criteria 

The eligibility criteria for applying for the Ishan Uday Scholarship are very simple. They are discussed below.

• Applicants must be permanent residents of the Northeast Region (residency certificate is required).
• Applicant must have passed class 12 or its equivalent from any public school.
• Students must be studying in any college under UGC.
• The annual income of the student’s family should be less than Rs. 4.5 lakh.
• Students admitted through Open University or Management Quota are not eligible to apply.

• After that, the scholarship home page will open for you.
• Then click on the “New Registration” option on the home page.
• Then, a new web page will open again.
• You should carefully read all the terms and conditions there.
• Then click on the “Continue” option.
• The “Registration” form will open in front of you.
• You have to fill out the form and provide all the important information.
• Then, an OTP will be sent to your mobile.
• After filling in the OTP, select “Register”.

• First, visit the official website of the National Scholarship Portal.
• After that, the scholarship home page will open for you.
• Then click on the “New Registration” option on the home page.
• Then, a new web page will open again.
• Here, click the “Apply for Renewal” button.
• A new webpage will appear before you.
• Please enter your application ID, password, and captcha code immediately.
• After entering your information, click Login.
• You will see the renewal form.
• Fill out the form carefully.
• Include every necessary document.
• After attaching documents, select the “Submit” option.

Ishan Uday Scholarship: Track Application

• To view their payment, the applicant must visit the official website of the Ishan Uday scholarship.
• The website’s home page will be displayed on the screen.
• Now go to the homepage and click “Track NSP Payment link”.
• Enter your NSP application ID, bank name, or account number.
• Monitor NSP Payment.
• Now, select the “search option”.
• On the screen, the NSP payment details will appear.
