About Reliance Foundation Scholarship 2024

The Reliance Foundation Scholarship was launched on the death anniversary of the late Dhiru Bhai Ambani. Candidates pursuing UG and PG courses from any university or college in India can apply for the scholarship. Students can complete the application process online by visiting the scholarship’s official website. After selection, the direct scholarship amount is transferred to the student’s bank account.

Reliance Foundation Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 

The eligibility criteria are divided into two parts: first for UG courses and second for PG courses. Eligibility criteria are discussed below-

For Undergraduate (UG) Degree

• You must be a resident of India.
• 12th standard pass with a minimum of 60% and attending a full-time undergraduate program in India.
• Household income <Rs. 15 lakhs (preference given to <Rs. 2.5 lakhs)

For Postgraduate (PG) Degree

• You must be a resident of India.
• Post Graduate Scholarship: First-year PG students score 550 to 1000 on the GATE examination.

OR

• Students who have not attempted GATE but have scored 7.5 or higher on their graduation CGPA (or % normalized to CGPA).
• Eligible degree programs: computer science, artificial intelligence, mathematics and computer science, electrical or electronic engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, new and renewable energy, materials, science, and engineering. And life sciences.

Reliance Foundation Scholarship Selection Process

• All applicants must complete the online eligibility.
• The test will be 60 minutes and will have 60 responses.
• Test components include verbal, analytical, logical, and numerical ability.

For UG:-

FIRST LEVEL SELECTION

• Applications will be evaluated using a combination of aptitude test scores and academic and personal information.

For PG:-

FIRST LEVEL SELECTION

• Applications will be evaluated by an expert panel of industry experts, academicians, and leaders in the field.

SECOND LEVEL SELECTION

• Candidates’ interview preparation will be conducted through a webinar.
• The interview will be conducted virtually by a panel of experts.

Reliance Foundation Scholarship Application Process

• Applicants must first visit the official website of the JIO Scholarship.

• On the screen, you must select the “Application Portal” option.
• A new page will appear; choose “Click Here to Complete the Eligibility Questionnaire”.
• Answer all of the questions in the questionnaire, and you will obtain an email login certificate to the application portal.
• Click the login button with the login ID and password, and a screen will open for your application form.
• Provide all the information and upload the documents listed above for the application.
• After completing the application form, write an essay, reread it carefully, and click the “submit” button.
