The Tamil Nadu government has launched the Tamil Nadu Naan Mudhalvan Scholarship for its UPSC aspirants. The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has announced this scholarship in the State Budget 2024-25. Tamil Nadu Naan Mudhalvan Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

All student applicants must complete the following items to complete the eligibility criteria.

• Experience must be a resident of the state of Tamil Nadu.
• The candidates should be above 21 years old.
• Applicants in the SC/ST category should be at least 37 years of age.
• Physically disabled applicants should be at most 42 years of age.
• Candidates should have a graduation degree from any school or college in India.
• The top 50 fresh candidates must be 21 and can attain 22 years of age by August 1, 2024.
• Age relaxation will be granted to candidates in medicine, integrated courses, veterinary science, etc.
• The general student must be below 32 years of age.

Candidates will be selected based on the “NAAN MUDHALVAN UPSC Preliminary Scholarship Examination 2024 ”. The students with the highest marks will be awarded the scholarship.

SCREENING TEST CENTERS:

1. Exam Centers are available in all 38 Districts of Tamil Nadu. The Candidates
   should choose any one center for writing the examination in the application
   form. The venue of the center will be intimated in the Hall Ticket.
2. TNSDC reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of examination
   centers to re-allot the applicants accordingly.
3. Applicants should appear for the examination at their own expense.
